What Puzzling Means to Me
"I remember doing puzzles with my mom. Usually we’d gather around a table set up on the screened-in-porch. Keeping the insects out while keeping us cool, the screened-in-porch is one of the great cultural offerings of the Midwest. The puzzle pieces were stretched across the table, organized by color. We’d chat, cheer each other on, commiserate. The moment we were asked to shelter-in-place I ordered puzzles for my own family.
I shared the photos of our progress online, and before long I had an extended puzzle family from all over the world. Like those earlier days with my mom, we chat, cheer each other on and commiserate. One kind soul suggested I auction off our Star Wars puzzle for charity. With Ravensburger’s help, you can have the chance to win the puzzle that helped keep me and my family connected during these challenging times and help to ensure kids get enough to eat.
I’ll always love puzzles, but this one has a special place in my heart. I know you’ll enjoy it, too."
