Step into the world of Disney Lorcana

Lorcana is a collectable trading card game that uses famous Disney characters that you know and love, and is packed with spectacular artwork that you won’t find anywhere else. It’s published by Ravensburger, in collaboration with the Walt Disney Company.

What is Disney Lorcana?

In Lorcana, players become an Illumineer who wields magic ink to summon Glimmers. Each Glimmer represents a familiar Disney character, and has its own unique characteristics. You’ll use your card collection to build a deck for each game, then you’ll compete against other players to earn lore.

Lorcana is easy to pick up and get started - all you need is one of our starter decks and another Lorcana fan with their own deck to play against.

Then, when you start to get the hang of the rules and develop your own play style, you can start to customize your deck with booster packs.

What’s Disney Lorcana like to play?

Lorcana is super easy to pick up and play, but there’s a lot of depth to explore if you want to become a master. Gameplay is a unique mixture of strategy and creativity, and it’s great fun for trading card game experts and beginners alike.

All of our starter decks contain balanced decks, but as you start developing your own strategies and ways to play you can build your own deck to focus on particular skills.

Different play styles are represented by different ink colors on the cards. There are six in total, with amber focused on healing and protection, amethyst centered around magic, emerald specializing in trickery and disruption, ruby being aggressive and fast, sapphire excelling in resource management and long-term strategy and steel prioritizing strength and defense.

A Lorcana deck can use up to two ink colors, so you can mix and match specialties and even collect separate decks for when you feel like playing in different styles.

As portable as you want it to be

Because it’s a card game, you can easily take Lorcana with you wherever you go. Want to play around a friend’s house, or on the train, or in a cafe? No problem.
