Our Privacy Policy is designed to assist you in understanding how and when we collect information through the Site, and how this information will be used. It will be continuously assessed against new technologies and business practices. The United States has data protection laws that may not be consistent with those of other countries. 1. Types of Information Collected

Through the use of cookie technology, log-files or otherwise, we may track and collect information about your computer and software when you visit the Site as well as record activity on the Site and gather statistics about users' browsing habits. These entries are generated anonymously and help us to understand and analyze trends, to administer the Site, to learn about user behavior on the Site, and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. This information may include: (i) your Internet Protocol (IP) address; (ii) domain server; (iii) type of computer; (iv) browser type, language and resolution; (v) Internet Service Provider (ISP); (vi) referring and exit pages; (vii) operating system; (viii) access date/time; and (ix) clickstream data (collectively "Traffic Data"). Traffic Data is anonymous information that does not personally identify you. Traffic Data assists us to design and arrange our web pages in the user-friendliest manner and to continually improve our Site to better meet the needs of users.

To the extent that IP addresses or similar identifiers are considered personally identifiable information by applicable laws, we will also treat these identifiers as Personal Information (as that term is defined below) under this Privacy Policy. Similarly, to the extent Traffic Data is combined with Personal Information, we will treat the combined information as Personal Information under this Privacy Policy.

In order for you to access certain areas and functions/features of the Site, register with Ravensburger (become a Registered User) and/or participate in certain online activities (such as posting to blogs, bulletin boards, chat rooms or similar forums on the Site, submitting online comments and placing online orders), we may ask you to establish certain login information and provide us with information that personally identifies you, such as your name, mailing address, e-mail address and home and/or business telephone numbers ("Personal Information"). For some activities, we may also ask you to create a password and to provide demographic information such as your age, the gender and birthdates of children in your household.

If you make a Submission, communicate with us by e-mail or otherwise complete online forms or the like, any personally identifiable information provided in such Submission or communication may be collected as Personal Information.

You may choose not to provide us with any Personal Information. In such an event, you can still access and use much of the Site. You, however, will not be able to access or use those areas of the Site or participate in online activities that require your Personal Information.

Users purchasing goods and/or services through our online store will be required to provide a valid credit card number and expiration date, in addition to name, mailing address, phone number and e-mail address.

Participation in online activities at the Site may be subject to additional terms, conditions and notices and such activities shall be governed by such terms, conditions and notices. In the event of any conflict, such additional or different terms, conditions and notices will prevail over this Privacy Policy.

2. Use of Cookies and Other Technologies

Ravensburger uses cookies and other technologies such as pixel tags and web beacons to enhance your experience on the Site. These technologies help us to better understand user behavior and let us know how many users have visited the Site and which parts. They help us to facilitate and improve effectiveness and usability of the Site and its content, navigation and search. We use cookies and other technologies to remember Personal Information when you use the Site and online applications to make your experience on the Site more convenient and personal.

Specifically, we employ cookie technology to store and track information about the users of the Site. Cookies are a feature of web browser software that allows web servers to recognize the computer used to access a web site. Cookies are small pieces of data that are stored by a user’s web browser on the user’s hard drive. Cookies can remember what information a user accesses on one web page to simplify subsequent interactions with that web site by the same user or to use the information to streamline the user’s transactions on related web pages. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can change your browser to prevent the browser from accepting cookies - you can disable cookies in the security settings of your browser. If you disable or reject cookies, you may still use the Site, but your ability to use some areas and features/functions of the Site may be limited.

We do not link the information we store in cookies to any personally identifiable information you submit while on our Site. We use both session ID cookies and persistent cookies. We use session cookies to make it easier for you to navigate our Site. A session ID cookie expires when you close your browser. A persistent cookie remains on your hard drive for an extended period of time. You can remove persistent cookies by following the directions provided in your Internet browser’s “HELP” file.

Login areas on the Site require that your browser accepts session ID cookies. We use session cookies to verify that you are properly signed in.

We use web beacons (small pieces of data that are embedded in images on the pages of web sites) and auditing software to track page views and entry and exit points to and from the Site. In addition, we may use web beacons, cookies, customized links and/or similar technologies to determine whether electronic newsletter(s) sent by us to those who have requested them from us have been opened and which links are clicked. Any data collected will only be used in an aggregate form and will not contain any Personal Information, as that term is defined below.

We may allow certain Ravensburger affiliates to include cookies, web beacons and/or other technologies within pages of the Site. These affiliates may aggregate information about our advertising and provide auditing, research and reporting for our advertisers. No Personal Information is shared with our advertisers or our affiliates.

We work with third parties who use cookies and other technologies to aid in the reporting of aggregate site usage statistics for the Site. These statistics are not linked to Personal Information.
We use the services of Webtrekk to collect statistical data on the use of the Site and optimize our Site based on that data. During your visit to the Site, information will be collected from your browser and analyzed for our web tracking. The collection occurs via a pixel, which is built into the pages of the Site. Webtrekk does not save any information that can be attributed to a specific individual. Webtrekk provides aggregated data, such as the number of users and the number of pages visited at the Site while monitored by Webtrekk. In addition to the number of times specific pages are visited, other Traffic Data and technical data is retained - such as browser type, screen resolution, color depth and operating system. In order to enhance the Site's marketing impact, Webtrekk records users' search words and reference pages from the Site. Webtrekk uses collected information exclusively to provide a statistical analysis of the usage of the web site. The data collected is not passed on to a third party. As a result the studies are based on anonymous data and cannot be associated with any Personal Information.

16. Friendly Captcha (Bot/Spam Protection)

We use the "Friendly Captcha" service on our website (www.friendlycaptcha.com).
This service is provided by Friendly Captcha GmbH, Am Anger 3-5, 82237 Woerthsee, Germany.
Friendly Captcha is a new type of privacy-friendly security solution to make it increasingly difficult for
automated programs and scripts (so-called "bots") to use our website.
For this purpose, we have integrated a program code from Friendly Captcha into our website (e.g. for contact forms) so that the visitor's end device can establish a connection to Friendly Captcha's servers in order to receive a computational task from Friendly Captcha. The visitor's end device solves the computational task, which requires certain system resources, and sends the computational results to our web server. Our server contacts the Friendly Captcha server via an API and receives a response stating whether the puzzle was solved correctly by the end device. Depending on the result, we can apply security rules to requests via our website and thus, for example, further process or reject them.
The data is used exclusively for the protection against spam and bots as described above. Friendly Captcha does not set or read cookies on the visitor's end device. IP addresses are only stored in hashed (one-way encrypted) form and do not allow us and Friendly Captcha to draw any conclusions about an individual person. If personal data is stored, this data will be deleted after 30 days. The legal basis for the processing is our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR in protecting our website against abusive access by bots, i.e. spam protection and protection against attacks (e.g. mass requests).
Further information on data protection when using Friendly Captcha can be found at https://friendlycaptcha.com/legal/privacy-end-users/

17. Address verification with Endereco

On our website we give you the option to verify, in real time, your entries in the address forms used for our web store. The purpose of this is to prevent any problems with the delivery of your ordered products due to incorrect information.
Furthermore, we aim to ensure that your contact information is valid so that we can send you information about your order or respond to any queries.
For the provision of these features, we use the service provider Endereco, registered address: Balthasar-Neumann-Straße 4b, 97236 Randersacker, Germany. This service provider processes your data exclusively in accordance with our instructions. The legal basis for the transmission, processing, and temporary storage of your data by this service provider is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, since it is absolutely necessary for the performance of the contract or the implementation of pre-contractual measures that some of the data entered by you on the input screen is checked for accuracy. The following data is processed by the service provider:
- Address (country, city, postal code, street, house number if applicable)
The data is processed separately by the service provider and is not merged with other data. Your enquiries are deleted by the service provider as soon as the status of the submitted data has been determined and its storage in the web store has been completed, and at the latest after 30 days.

18. Online advertising and personalized offers (trbo)

On our website, technologies of trbo GmbH, Leopoldstr. 41, 80802 Munich, Germany, https://www.trbo.com/ (hereinafter "trbo") are used to optimize our online offer, measure the effectiveness of our online advertising and play out personalized offers.
Provided that you have given us your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a GDPR, we use tracking tools (in particular so-called "cookies" and "web beacons"). The data collected and used in this context is always stored only under a pseudonym (e.g. a random identification number) and is not merged with other personal data about you (e.g. name, address, etc.). The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected. Deletion of data at the user and event level takes place no later than 14 months after its collection. You can revoke your given consent for the processing of personal data by means of trbo for the above-mentioned purposes at any time with effect for the future or change your selected preferences. The easiest way to revoke your consent is via your cookie settings.
We have concluded an order processing agreement with trbo, in which we oblige the provider to protect our customers' data and not to pass it on to third parties.
You can find more information about data privacy at trbo here: https://www.trbo.com/en/privacy-policy/.
